Ellen Bernice Horne's final dream came true as she graciously returned to her loving husband in her Heavenly home on May 14, 2010. Bernice was born March 2, 1929 to Ardelle William and Barbara Ellen Denison Phillips in Farmington, Utah. Bernice married her best friend and dearest admirer, Richard Meyer (Dick) Horne, on February 22, 1950. Trena Horne (Larry) Dodge, Dixie Jane Horne (Roy) Wilson, Lee Richard (Kathy) Horne, and Jay Dee (Julie) Horne were blessed to have her as a loving, nurturing mother. She emulated beauty through her beloved garden, which she shared with everyone.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers: Dellas and Max (Barbara) Phillips; and her sister Cleo (Tom) Ramage. She is survived by her siblings: Ray (Barbara) Phillips, Barbara Bybee and Lucy (Max) Petersen, and by her special friend, Glen Elder. She introduced a legacy of love through her four children and their spouses, twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and growing.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Chapel located at 555 North 100 East in Kaysville, UT. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street, and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the Church.
Interment: Farmington City Cemetery.
