Russell Thomas McDonald, age 84, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, and friend, passed away Dec. 24, 2003, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born Nov. 10, 1919 to Thomas Francis and Ada Pearl Russell McDonald in Murray, Utah. Married Marjor-ie Tate Sept. 17, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple; later divorced.

Survived by brother, Dr. Keith Mc-Donald, sister Donna (Farrell) Lundquist; seven children, Brent (Linda) McDonald, Norman (Sydette) McDonald, Carrie (Tom) Brooks, Stuart Mc-Donald, Arla (Roland) Eysser, Monte (Lisa) McDonald, and Gae Sellers; 21 grandkids; nine great-grandkids; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his grandson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003 at the Salt Lake 10th Ward Chapel, 420 So. 800 E, Salt Lake City, 12 noon. Family and friends may call at the Chapel 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. SereniCare, funeral directors.

    James "Ralph"Kelson 1924 ~ 2005 ST. GEORGE, UTAH - Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Ralph Kelson, passed away in St. George, Utah, on Mon., Nov. 7, 2005. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 20, 1924, to James Conrad and Mary Cleona Thorpe Kelson. He married Elizabeth Beagley July 5, 1946, in the Manti Temple. Elizabeth died April 28, 1985. He then married Marjorie Tate McDonald in the Salt Lake Temple on December 20, 1985. Ralph served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and worked as an Air Traffic Controller for the FAA for 32 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and golf. James was an active member with the Barber Shop Chorus in St. George, and liked working in the Temple. Ralph is survived by his wife, Marjorie T. Kelson; his sister, Louise Luckart; daughters Kathryn (Fred) Katwyk, Karolyn and Connie Kelson; grandchildren, Rodney James Katwyk, and Whitney Elizabeth Kelson. He is also survived by his step-children, Brent (Linda) McDonald, Norman (Sydette) McDonald, Carrie (Tom) Brooks, Stuart McDonald, Arla (Roland) Eysser, Monte (Lisa) McDonald, Gae Sellers; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and close family and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 14, 2005, at 1 p.m. at the Nephi Ward Chapel, 222 S. 1st E., Nephi, UT, with the first visitation Sunday, November 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, and the second visitation Monday from 12 to 1 p.m., prior to services, at the Chapel. Interment will take place at the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, UT. Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, UT (435) 673-2454.
