Obituary- Mildred Parks Parrish (Deseret News)

SALT LAKE CITY/RICHFIELD--Mildred Parks Parrish, 90, of Salt Lake City, died January 16, 1999, in St. George, Utah.

She was born October 12, 1908, in Richfield, to John William and Clara Ella Horne Parks. She married Lano Parrish, he preceded her in death. She was a nurses aid and office manager in doctors offices in Salt Lake City for many years. She loved to travel and enjoy people. She was active in the Eastern Stars in Salt Lake City.She is survived by step-son, Robert Parrish, of Salt Lake City; three sisters, Editha Schurtz, of Soda Springs, Idaho; Hazel and Roy Urie, of Cedar City; Berna Dean and Valden Anderson, of Salina; brother, Francis Parks, Richfield. Preceded in death by parents, husband, brothers, Frank, Smith, Fay, John, sisters, Rachel and Martha.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 1999 at 11 a.m. in the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
